How do I create a store?

To get started simply choose a package (Basic is free) and complete the short on line application form. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm a few details and immediately set up your Scan&Get store.

Am I eligible to sell on Scan&Get?

Scan&Get stores are intended for business that have a range of products that they sell to customers.  Or a single product that they continuously sell.

You can not set up a Scan&Get store to sell one off items.

What products can I sell in my Scan&Get Store?

There are restrictions on what products can be sold on Scan&Get, please see our listing policy for the full list of what can’t be sold.

 

Do I have to download any software?

There is no download of software required, you will be given an on line account login and will immediately be able to start selling your products using Scan&Get.

How long does it take for my application to be approved?

We aim to approve your very straight forward application in less then 24 hours.

How long does it take to set up my store?

We would love to say 5 minute or even 10, but that just would not be true.

What is true is that we believe that it is very easy and straight forward to start selling products using Scan&Get, however we also recognise that everyone has different  levels of IT skills.  The following table is intended to give you a guide as to how long it may take you personally:

The above time scales are for starting your store from scratch and adding a couple of products.  Once you are familiar with the Scan&Get features and adding items to your store you really will be able to add products in less then 5 minutes.

How will I get paid?

Although your store will be provided via the Scan&Get on line platform, you will maintain full financial control of your store, with payments being made directly to your PayPal business or PayPal Pro account.

What is my credit limit?

All accounts will are opened with a credit limit of £50.00, however this will be frequently reviewed.

How can I increase my credit limit?

Your credit limit will be frequently reviewed and increased if all invoices have been paid within 5 working days.

How will I be billed?

You will be sent invoices to the admin address added in your Scan&Get store settings.

How often will I be billed?

You will be billed when you reach your credit limit or every 28 days which ever comes first.

Can I bulk upload products to my store?

Unfortunately you can’t bulk upload items at present, however this feature is coming shortly.  In the meantime we will be happy to do this for you.  Please mention this requirement when registering for your Scan&Get store or existing merchants please email support@scanandget.co.uk.

What if I exceed the free 500 product listing threshold?

Provided that your Scan&Get store generates total sales of at least £2500 per month (average in the last 12 months – pro rata for new accounts) you will automatically be allowed to list up to 2000 items free of charge. For merchants with higher requirements then this please contact enquiries@scanandget.co.uk.
